 Marsupial Lion has extensive experience applying the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 in the preparation of reviews of environmental factors and State Significant Infrastructure environmental impact statements and application reports. This has included the management of a variety of technical specialists across a range of disciplines including Aboriginal heritage, non-Aboriginal heritage, traffic and transport, noise and vibration, ecology and contaminated land. Marsupial Lion has worked across a broad range of projects including heavy rail, light rail, road, electrical, water, pedestrian and maritime infrastructure and will provide you with tailored advice in accordance with both New South Wales and Commonwealth environmental planning legislation and policies.  

Marsupial Lion's environmental management activities include conducting environmental audits, managing environmental incidents, liaison with relevant stakeholders and the management of out of hours work activities. We will prepare and review construction environmental management plans and associated sub plans, as well as prepare and review consistency assessments and compliance checklists in accordance with planning approval conditions, environmental planning legislation, contract requirements and relevant policies and procedures.  

 Marsupial Lion can assist in the early stages of infrastructure project development by providing environmental planning advice, constraints mapping, options assessments, identifying and managing risks and developing planning approval strategies and frameworks. We can provide strategic environmental planning advice and input into multidisciplinary project teams to minimise environmental risks and resolve environmental planning issues.

This will involve the development of a detailed schedule of deliverables with a focus on the critical path items and the cost and impacts of key project risks.
